Adolescent Boys ages 13 through 17
Our Sparks Campus is home for up to 15 boys who are struggling with life-controlling problems. The center is designed to be a home away from home in contrast to a clinical type institution. The Teen Challenge Program is a long term program designed to last twelve to eighteen months. Parents can elect to have their child stay longer in some circumstances. Students attend an on-campus year round school during their stay with us.  We are not a lock down facility however students are under 24 hour direct supervision. While at Teen Challenge, students are taught teamwork to help them trust and to better understand others. The Teen Challenge program offers specific help in the following areas.

Spiritual
Teen Challenge is a faith based program that believes our success is because of Jesus Christ and His power to change lives. Our program is centered around Biblical principles with the goal of helping our students develop a moral compass to make right choices. Students attend weekly church services and youth groups. Chapel is held daily at the center.

Academics
Teen Challenge operates an exempt private school for grades 7 through 12 and uses the School of Tomorrow curriculum. It is fully accredited. If a child is behind in his schooling he can usually catch up while attending Teen Challenge. This is possible because our school is year round and each student has his own self paced program of instruction.

Counseling
Knowing that each student comes with a different set of problems and circumstances we offer both individual and group counseling to help them rebuild their lives and relationships between family members. We do recommend that parents be involved in scheduled counseling times throughout their child's stay at Teen Challenge. We believe this is an essential part of each child's success

Work/Social Skills
Students work together to accomplish different tasks. They work together doing chores and helping people in the community. By learning to live with students of other backgrounds students develop new social and communication skills. By thinking differently they begin to see a new hope and future for themselves.
